After 23 years it was time to either replace my pontoon or my old Johnson 2 stroke outboard motor. After consulting with David & J.C. I decided to repower my boat with a new 4 stroke Yamaha 70 HP motor. Wow! I now have a reliable boat with all new controls, cables, etc. and the fuel consumption is less than 1/2 of the old motor. All this for about 30% of the price of a new boat. Thanks also to Butch for all the help with the necessary parts, Karl for rigging the new motor, and Cheryl for handling the paperwork. I currently have about 15 hours on the new motor and no issues with it at all. Thanks.

I am not a person who normally does reviews but had to on this. I purchased a Bennington Pontoon a couple of months ago. Cheryl in the office was very nice in handling the financing. We took the boat out first day I purchased and the motor blew up. Butch in service department was extremely nice. He worked with mfg. to insure it got repaired. They had to keep boat for over 3 weeks while replacement parts where ordered. This was a mfg. issue not setting torque correctly. Augusta Marine is paying for first check up service and David the owner wrote me a check for first boat payment. I dont think there many companies out there that would do this. I love my g3 boat... I purchased my first a 1548 from ---------- Marine in Orangeburg,SC. The second a 1860 sc I purchased from ------ Outboards in Cottageville, SC. My experience with these two boat sellers is that as long as the sale is in question they will do anything. After the sale they have no use for a customer unless it is to overcharge for service. I have learned that any problems or questions I have should be taken to Augusta Marine in particular David Annis. David is personable and is truly interested in what I need. I want to say thank you to David and all my future g3 business will be with Augusta Marine...
